Staff Accountant

Responsibilities:

  • Support multiple technologies including Concur and other automated systems
  • Carry out month-end close procedures
  • Assist with accounts receivable process including A/R analysis and collection, A/R aging review, and correspondence regarding customer balances.
  • Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Perform reconciliations of bank statements and other financial accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Support the annual audit process and provide necessary documentation.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support.
  • Ensure records are being maintained timely, accurately and in compliance with GAAP or other basis of accounting.
  • General ledger review and analysis.

Qualifications:

  • 3 plus years of experience
  • Requires Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Strong Excel Skills
  • Knowledge of a larger ERP system
  • Perform numerical and financial calculations
  • General knowledge and application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

Pay:

$38-$45 an hour based on experience
