As a Principal Software Engineer, you'll help lead a team of world-class engineers iterate on our product and support its scaling through product-led growth and AI. What You Will Do In This Role:

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of world class engineers, focusing on product-led growth every single day.
• Drive the adoption of best practices and emerging technologies, especially AI, within the team.
• Lead the development and delivery of end-to-end solutions, architecting and implementing robust frontend, backend, and infrastructure components.
• Collaborate with the product team throughout the development process to deliver exceptional user experiences and subscription growth through the product.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, front-end developers, and product managers, to gather and refine requirements that align with business objectives and client needs.
• Identify potential challenges in the development process early on and propose solutions to prevent setbacks or delays.
• As a Full Stack Engineer, you will develop and maintain our web and mobile applications using technologies such as Next.js, React Query, SwiftUI, Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, GraphQL, and AWS Amplify.

You Are What We Are Looking For If:

• You consider yourself a full stack engineer with at least 5 years of experience in Full-stack technologies (Next.js, GraphQL, Swift, Kotlin, AWS Cloud, Vercel).
• You have experience integrating LLM capabilities into large-scale consumer facing apps.
• You love to lead and mentor other engineers and aren't afraid to share feedback in a candid but empathetic way.
• You recognize challenges and take the initiative to propose solutions and solve them.
• You're based in the US, preferably in the San Francisco Bay Area.
• You're experienced working with US and global teams.
• You have 7+ years of experience within a SaaS startup environment.
• You're well-versed in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies like Scrum.
• You have expertise in creating dynamic, high-performance web applications using MUI.
• You have exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
• You have an intense level of innovation and curiosity for building new things.
• You thrive in both independent and collaborative work environments.

Compensation

$180,000 - $200,000 USD
