What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

1. Process multi-state biweekly and monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance
2. Oversee daily timekeeping and resolve payroll-related discrepancies
3. Prepare and maintain payroll records, journal entries, and reports
4. Conduct audits of benefit plans against payroll deductions for accuracy
5. Provide training and support to junior payroll staff on payroll processes

What is Required (Qualifications):

1. Associate's degree in accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience
2. 3-5 years of payroll experience
3. Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
4. Experience with outsourced payroll software and automated timekeeping software
5. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

1. Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation
2. Experience with Kronos or UKG Software
3. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, HR, or a related field
