In this role, you will:
Provide strategic recommendations and thought leadership on Jira solutions, focusing on system design, optimization, workflows and automation capabilities.
Assess and implement other tools to integrate with Jira (Google office products, Slack, Polarion and various plug-ins) for tracking and reporting.
Create comprehensive implementation documentation for new Jira configurations and solutions.
Conduct testing and demonstrations in the Jira development environment, collaborating with implementation teams to refine solutions before production deployment.
Design and document data migration strategies, including impact analysis on reporting and existing workflows.
Provide training and support to users, for any Jira related updates.
Partner with the central Jira admin team to ensure alignment with organization-wide standards and best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in Jira administration and architecture.
Strong understanding of Jira configuration, workflows, and automation capabilities.
Experience in technical documentation and solution design.
Proven track record of implementing complex Jira solutions in enterprise environments.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Bonus Qualifications:
Atlassian certifications.
Experience with Jira integrations and API development.
Knowledge of automotive or aerospace industry processes.
Experience with change management and process improvement.
Background in program management or business analysis.
