Piper Companies is seeking an experienced Principal Solutions Architect to join a global leader in data center, cloud, and networking infrastructure solutions. This position will play a critical role in providing technical expertise and strategic support to sales teams, helping customers design and implement cutting-edge cloud, networking, and infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities for the Principal Solutions Architect:

1. Provide expert technical consultation for cloud, networking, and data center solutions, focusing on public, private, and hybrid cloud environments.
2. Collaborate with sales teams to develop creative IT solutions, ensuring optimal deployment and total cost of ownership.
3. Facilitate customer workshops to assess architecture needs and present technical solutions to a diverse range of audiences up to the C-Suite.
4. Lead the technical aspects of proposal development, solution sizing, and customer-facing presentations.
5. Work to improve the probability of a deal closing, increasing the size of a deal in process, expanding the team's reach globally, and improving scale through tooling and automation.

Qualifications for the Principal Solutions Architect:

1. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in technical roles within hosting, cloud, networking, or IT consulting.
2. 2+ years of experience in solution selling and/or pre-sales technical support.
3. Expertise in cloud services, networking, and hardware infrastructure (e.g., storage, security).
4. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

Compensation/Benefits for the Principal Solutions Architect:

1. Salary: $175,000 - $205,000 with a 40% bonus potential.
2. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Sick leave as required by law.
