Lawrence Berkeley National Lab's (LBNL) Environmental Health and Safety Division has an opening for an Occupational Health & Safety Specialist to join the team.
In this exciting role, you will be working as an industrial hygiene and construction safety professional under the direction of the Construction and Maintenance Field Support Manager, senior field staff, and the Lab's Asbestos and Lead Program Managers. You will provide asbestos and lead bulk and air sampling in support of construction and maintenance projects, including data entry into the Lab's sampling data system for creating survey reports. This position will also provide general safety field support for construction and maintenance projects, which may include areas of industrial hygiene, construction health and safety, subcontractor health and safety, maintenance health and safety, silica, excavation safety, fall protection, ladder safety, etc.
