LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled Endpoint Systems Engineer to oversee the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise-wide endpoint systems, devices, and management solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring endpoint devices perform reliably and efficiently by deploying system updates, patches, and security measures while providing advanced technical support for endpoint-related issues.

This is a HYBRID role 3 days a week on-site and 2 days remote. Position will be located within the Marin County area. 90 probationary period on-ramp notice, will be required to be on-site most of the week to start (4 days on-site)

Responsibilities:

  • Endpoint Management: Design, configure, and oversee the deployment of endpoint management systems, patches, and updates to ensure efficient device performance.
  • Security Compliance: Recommend and monitor compliance with security policies for endpoint devices, including encryption, access controls, and threat detection measures.
  • Automation & Scripting: Leverage automation tools to streamline device provisioning, application deployment, and system updates.
  • Technical Support: Provide advanced technical support to resolve endpoint-related issues, collaborating with the Service Desk and IT teams as necessary.
  • Deployment & Configuration: Develop and deploy standardized images for desktops, laptops, and other endpoint devices.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor endpoint performance, identify issues impacting productivity, and apply solutions to enhance device efficiency.
  • Collaboration with Teams: Partner with business stakeholders and application owners to ensure endpoint readiness for new software deployments.
  • Security Implementations: Collaborate with IT and Cybersecurity teams to enforce security configurations, including encryption, antivirus, and vulnerability management tools.
  • Documentation & Training: Document processes and provide training for IT support teams on endpoint management tools and procedures.
  • Asset Management: Maintain accurate records of endpoint devices in the asset management system and manage hardware lifecycle processes (procurement, provisioning, decommissioning).
  • After-Hours Support: Participate in scheduled rotations for after-hours on-call support (every 6 weeks, rotation).
  • Occasional travel: Instate travel for new projects within the year - 10 - 20% depending on need.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of coursework and experience.
  • Licenses & Certifications: Microsoft Certified Endpoint Administrator Associate, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent certifications preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure with a focus on endpoint management.
  • 5+ years of experience with imaging, scripting, remote access tools, and desktop management tools required.
  • 3+ years of proficiency with scripting, PowerShell required (can recognize issues with script language) and Bash preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience with Active Directory and enterprise networking concepts.
  • Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Management.
  • Experience supporting mid-size level to enterprise level external users, managing end-to-end projects.

  • Applied knowledge of endpoint technologies and security tools.
  • Strong understanding of IT security principles and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Proficiency with endpoint management tools and software deployment solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to resolve complex issues.
  • Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Salary & Benefits Expectations: 115,000 - 130,000 base salary
