FP&A Sr Analyst, Amazon Operations

Description:

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst will have a strong focus on supporting the sustainable growth of the BR Operations:

  1. Create financial models and other financial analyses to support our European growth strategies.
  2. Support the financial planning e.g. Guidance OP1, OP2.
  3. Analyze and manage financial and operational KPIs to support the business owners across all functions (Supply Chain, Operations, Transportation, etc).
  4. Prepare monthly performance-based reporting for the business & senior management.
  5. Execute ad hoc finance initiatives as & when required.
  6. Collaborate with International finance colleagues to drive best practices and efficiency improvements.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Relevant experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses.
  2. Relevant experience identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes.
  3. Relevant experience creating process improvements with automation and analysis.
  4. Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and experience in a quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance).
  5. Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Experience in participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results.
  2. MBA, or CPA.
  3. Knowledge of Tableau.
  4. Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).
