California Professional Geologist - Senior Project Manager

Overview: Are you a California Professional Geologist (P.G.) with a passion for providing exceptional customer service to your clients with subsurface environmental consulting needs and a knack forproject management? ACC is looking for a dynamic individual to join our environmental consulting firm as a Senior Project Manager. In this role, you'll spearhead a range of environmental projects throughout Northern California, leveraging your expertise to drive innovative solutions and exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Leadership: Take the helm on diverse environmental projects, steering them from concept to completion with your experience and integrity.
2. Client Engagement: Be the face of our firm, fostering strong relationships with clients and serving as their trusted advisor on all things environmental.
3. Compliance Mastery: Navigate the complex landscape of environmental regulations in California, ensuring our projects stay on the right side of the law.
4. Investigative Genius: Lead teams in conducting thorough environmental assessments, into soil, groundwater, and remediation strategies.
5. Innovative Remediation: Develop and implement forward-thinking remediation plans, using the latest technologies to achieve optimal results.
6. Team Empowerment: Inspire and mentor our project teams, empowering them to reach new heights of excellence in their work.
7. Proposal Prowess: Collaborate on crafting compelling project proposals that showcase our expertise and win over potential clients.
8. Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC): Maintain rigorous standards of quality in all project deliverables, leaving no room for error.
9. Safety Champion: Champion a culture of safety within our teams, ensuring everyone goes home safe at the end of the day.
10. Growth Mindset: Keep an eye out for new business opportunities and ways to expand our footprint in the environmental consulting world.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in geology
2. California Professional Geologist (P.G.) license is a must.
3. A minimum of 10 years' experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on California projects.
4. Expert knowledge of California environmental regulations.
5. Stellar communication skills, both written and verbal, with a knack for simplifying complex concepts.
6. Strong leadership abilities, with a passion for motivating and guiding project teams.
7. Tech-savvy, with proficiency in project management software and the Microsoft Office Autodesk, and Adobe applications.
8. A valid driver's license and a willingness to travel as needed.
