Your work will directly touch millions of people.Candidate Requirements:
- 4 years working at a venture-backed, consumer-facing startup
- 6+ years of experience building and scaling robust backend infrastructure.
- Deeply knowledgable of Google App Engine (GAE), WebSockets, Kubernetes, and backend systems.
- Proven experience in developing and operating large-scale backend systems.
- Python experience in a production environment.
- Strong familiarity with MongoDB and Redis.
- Experience with designing and maintaining large-scale messaging and/or event-driven architectures.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
- High level of agency and self motivation, and a proven track record of developing complex systems quickly and independently.
- Experience in or enthusiasm for the dynamic pace and impact of startup environments, with a strong commitment to achieving technical excellence and innovation.
- Excited to work in-office with the team in San FranciscoNice-to-haves:
- Understanding of Generative AI principles, inference techniques, and prompt management.
- Launched consumer apps on their own in the past.
- Experience with
- Experience managing infrastructure (deployment and orchestration) at consumer companies serving millions of users.Salary Range: $120k - $200k base with equity and benefits.
