VP ML Head of ML Company Overview : Our client is an innovative AI platform who allow for the development of trustworthy AI applications, they have developed proprietary tech & are founded by leading executives from Apple & Google. Their mission is to revolutionize the accuracy and reliability of information by leveraging advanced AI technologies. They aim to create a cutting-edge fact-checking data platform to allow the development of accurate & trustworthy AI Applications. Position: Vice President of AI & ML Locatio n: Hybrid San Francisco Key Responsibilities AI Strategy Development: Lead the design and implementation of the companies AI strategy to enhance data verification process Team Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing AI research and development team Technical Innovation: Drive the development of proprietary AI algorithms and models tailored for real-time fact-checking Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (Product, Engineering, Marketing) to integrate AI capabilities into the companies core offering Thought Leadership: Represent the companies at industry conferences, workshops, and in media to promote our AI advancements Qualifications Educational Background: Advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related fields Experience: 8 years of experience in AI/ML. The individually would preferably come from a broad NLP background solving problems around Search, Information Retrieval, Reasoning and hallucinations Technical Skills: Must be proficient in building architectures and rolling up your sleeves to code. Proficiency in AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), data analysis, and large-scale algorithm deployment Experience transitioning AI products from research to production Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of NLP/LLM applications in fact-checking, data integrity, and information verification. Background in regulated industry would be ideal (financial services, healthcare) Strong foundation in modern ML techniques, especially LLMs and NLP Soft Skills: Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and leadership abilities Research experience or publications in ML/AI This is an excellent opportunity to join a exceptional team with high quality investors behind them & play a pivotal part in the companies success.
