Summary of Job Duties:Candidate will, under limited supervision, perform a variety of complex technical operations on the production and developmental equipment for the semiconductor and other related industries.Candidate will work on multiple projects and will be required to assemble, integrate, and troubleshoot complex electrical and control systems.Specific Job Duties:Using manual common tools, build complex electrical assemblies, including panel layout, cables, and wiring to schematics.Perform system wiring and integration of electrical components/modulesPerform initial start-up, including voltage checks, I/O checkoutsTroubleshoot electrical and control system problems, including PLC, motion control, and I/O subsystems, using PC based software, diagnostic tools, and common measurement tools.Interface with Engineering to solve issues related to bill of materials, drawings, schematics, and control system.Perform final qualification test of subsystems and systemsQualifications:Prototyping experience in a production work environment.Desired 5+ years of experience working as a technician.Excellent troubleshooting ability.Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical CAD drawings.Ability to learn to work in a fast-paced environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate cross-functionally, and collaboration abilities.May require travel to customer sites to install new equipment, or service existing installed equipmentDesired AA degree in electronics, industrial, or electrical.Desired experience writing or debugging PLC ladder logic.Desired military electrician technical training.
