Production Operator I
Pay Rate: $20.00 1st shift/2nd Shift and $21.00 3rd Shift
Location: Oakland, CA
Duration: 6 months
Key Responsibilities

• Health & Safety Compliance
  
  • Consistently wear protective gear and adhere to health and safety regulations.
  • Perform routine safety checks on all machines to ensure a secure work environment.
• Machine Operation & Maintenance
  
  • Conduct raw material and machine setups, including staging, sanitation, and calibration, to initiate production cycles.
  • Adjust and control processing equipment functions and settings, such as flow rates, to optimize production.
• Quality Assurance & Troubleshooting
  
  • Regularly test machines to ensure smooth operation and detect potential issues.
  • Apply Quality Assurance procedures and inspect products to meet defined standards.
  • Troubleshoot processing issues as they arise to minimize downtime and ensure quality.
• Data Recording & Reporting
  
  • Maintain accurate records of intermediate or final products using an MRP system and barcode scanners.
  • Provide progress updates and relevant information to supervisors.
• Training & Support
  
  • Assist in on-the-job training for fellow associates, sharing knowledge and promoting a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Knowledge of machine operation and setup procedures.
• Basic understanding of Quality Assurance procedures.
• Familiarity with MRP systems and barcode scanners.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Commitment to health and safety regulations.
