About the Role

We are looking for a full-time contractor for the role of Marketing Fixture Demand/Supply Planner to manage fixtures, displays and marketing materials for Ariat's growing business. This role will forecast demand and inventory needs by aggregating information from Sales, Finance, and Business Partners across the company to create deep insights and optimal forecasts. This role plays a critical part in recognizing demand signals such as market and historical trends, point-of-sale data, seasonality, promotions, door expansions, etc., to drive the supply and inventory needs to meet demand.

This position will report into the Planning organization and work directly with the Marketing Team. This role has high interface and collaboration with cross functional teams such as Sales, Planning, Production, Product Managers, Finance, Customer Operations, PO, and Logistics & Distribution Dept members.

You'll Make a Difference By

• Managing the Demand forecast monthly to align supply needs within budget
• Driving sales and in-stocks to ensure adequate supply and optimization of assortment
• Creating seasonal builds and forecasts for Fixture Products and marketing materials, and reducing excess inventory
• Reviewing sales forecasts against inventory goals/needs with Finance and Management
• Demonstrating continuous improvement in forecasting techniques, method, and approach
• Comprehending and establishing best practices in demand planning tools to support the organization's goals
• Consulting with Retail Marketing and evaluating recommendations with consideration of strategic initiatives
• Partnering with Sourcing to evaluate inventory of POP and displays on a biweekly basis
• Compiling all information needed for orders, as well as approving quotes and fielding approvals to cross functional teams where appropriate
• Other duties as assigned

About You

• 2 years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain, or Merchandise Planning
• Experience in retail planning a plus
• BA/BS degree in Finance, Economics, or Business preferred
• High proficiency in Excel
• Likes to work with numbers and analyze data
• Strong written and communication skills
• Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all levels of organization
• Flexible and adaptable to changes and nuances, ability to switch from daily tactical operations to long term strategic thinking
• Knowledge of overall Supply Chain and how individual work impacts others
• A self-starter who takes initiative and accountability
• Strong ability to construct and refine processes
• Exhibits curiosity, a passion to learn, an open mindset to listen to multi perspectives

The hourly range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00 per hour.

The salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data for geographic locations. Ariat in good faith believes that this posted compensation range is accurate for this role at this location at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This contract position may be eligible for select benefits through the payrolling agency. Benefits may include medical, dental, and vision insurance options and 401k.
