Chief of Staff

Description:

Our client, a leader in the ride-sharing industry, is looking for an enthusiastic Chief of Staff to add to their team. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer and working alongside the Marketing Leadership Team, the ideal candidate is a master of cross-functional leadership, a practiced decision-maker, determined problem solver, and is highly capable of navigating competing demands and priorities while executing the priorities of the CMO.


**Please note that this is a 6 month, hybrid, contract position. The pay is $110-113/hour.**



Responsibilities:

  • Align and execute on strategy, develop Quarterly Business Reports, and finalize the 2025 annual plan.
  • Strengthen organizational health through improved structure, identifying and addressing skill gaps, designing workflows, and aligning internal processes.
  • Enhance Marketing Leadership Team effectiveness by driving priorities, leading meetings, and shaping offsites.
  • Lead executive business reviews alongside the CEO's Chief of Staff.
  • Ensure clear communication of priorities, activities, and results across the organization and maintain a pulse on organizational needs.
  • Facilitate internal communications within the Marketing team and across Lyft, addressing strategic projects and closing business and operational gaps.
  • Oversee OKRs, KPIs, and executive performance reporting for the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, People, etc.) to improve employee satisfaction, recruiting, resource allocation, and budget management.


Experience & Skills:

  • 10+ years in planning, strategic/financial planning, and organizational change; M.B.A. or advanced degree preferred.
  • Marketing experience in a high-growth tech environment is a strong plus.
  • Ability to understand and address business needs across functions, driving executive decisions.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects to completion with strong prioritization.
  • Data-driven mindset, adept at using metrics to advocate for business needs.
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to work effectively with executives and lead across functions.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with resilience in ambiguity and efficient resource management.
  • Experience leading strategic planning in high-growth companies.
  • Collaborative and supportive with a high degree of integrity and confidentiality management.
