You'll use and grow your skills in compassionate care, crisis intervention and de-escalation, in a supportive and inclusive work environment. You'll have the opportunity provide our community with substance abuse treatment to help people who are just discovering possibilities in their journey, going from a place of hopelessness to a place where they are valued and have the potential for a better life.Responsibilities:Maintain all required records and documentation needed for opening and closing in the billing systemPerforms Quality Assurance as it relates to data and record keepingEffectively work as part of a team, and verbalize areas of concern during weekly meetings with Program and Personnel Manager(s)Attend all staff meetings, required agency meetings, and training unless excusedTake minutes at the staff meetingsType correspondence, reports, and other documents as neededResponsible for maintaining a clean environment at all timesDrive program vehicle when necessaryEnsure confidential information is protectedPerform daily/monthly/quarterly/ and annual data entry in AVATARRecord, document, and monitor data on census and bed day reportResponsible for inventory control; office ordering, household, food supplies, etc.Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team and staff membersAssist with transportation as neededAssist Program and Personnel Manager(s) with program presentations to providers; law enforcement, hospitals, county providers, etc. as neededServe as a program designated Safety Coordinator, collaborating and communicating information from attending Horizon Services Safety committee meetingsSupport frontline staff during meal breaks and rest breaks if neededOther duties assigned by Program and Personnel Manager(s)What will make you successful in this role?Ability to use a computer; MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, database systems, write reportsKnowledge of demographic data collectionSafeguard Protected Health Information (PHI)Ability to manage time and prioritizeExperience presenting programs and services in the community.Ability to execute projects and measure results/ impactExperience working with customers or clients that feel overwhelmed or in a crisis (crisis intervention)Experienced working with diverse populations and culturesAble to exercise good judgment and maintain healthy boundaries with participants.Able to drive a 10-passenger van.What else is required?Valid California driver's license with a good driving record and car insurance.Current CPR/First Aid certificate desirable.Background Check/drug testing required at time of hire.Compensation and BenefitsWe are proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package to all full-time and part time employees over 20 hours per week.100% of medical, dental, Life and LTD for the employee and 50% for any dependents medical and dental coverage.PTO and Holiday pay.Retirement benefits after 6 months of service.Training and CEU opportunities.And of course, the opportunity to meaningfully contribute to a team of mindful, caring and passionate people at work every day!Salary: $23-$25 / an hour based on experience and qualifications.Horizon Services, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer. by JazzHR
