Processing Team Member - 2nd Shift

We are seeking a dedicated team member to be an integral part of our Processing Team with a primary focus on managing inventory of the ingredient storage room. Supporting our growing business, this processing team member works independently while overseeing the transfer, put-away and inventory management of all ingredients for our manufacturing facility. Activities such as directed put-away of raw materials, directed picking, cycle counting, and overall tracking of material obsolescence are the foundation of your daily work activities. But it does not stop there! Our team members are also involved with process improvement activities and work to enhance a broad range of initiatives.

SUCCESS FACTORS (First 12-18 months):

• Maestro of Materials: You help our factory operate at maximum efficiency. You are proficient at using a scanner to move and track materials throughout the facility and call upon this knowledge to ensure that all documentation, put-away, directed picking and cycle count activities are done accurately and on time. Your forklift performance is spectacular. The Manufacturing team can feel confident that the items used to produce our flavorful syrups have proper rotation (first in first out) by you and are ready for production!
• Attention to Detail: Make it right the first time is your motto, and it all starts with the supply of materials coming into our facility! You are comfortable managing material movements with a high level of accuracy and efficiency. Your ability to count and understand the system versus physical inventory variances is essential, and you are quick to investigate & resolve any instances when inventory variances have occurred.
• Communications: In manufacturing, communication is a critical cornerstone to everything we do. You are perfectly in tune with what is happening in processing, scheduling and on the manufacturing floor. You are an effective communicator that is always "in the loop" and proactively communicates timely information to make the manufacturing team run like a well-oiled machine!
• Safety First: You maintain a safe and enjoyable work environment. You have a keen eye for potential hazards, and you help us address them swiftly & effectively. You look at work through a lens of "safety first" and care deeply about the safety of fellow team members. Your commitment to safety and doing the right thing is always evident. Proper management of allergen controls is an essential part of your duties.

• Previous manufacturing, inventory and/or warehouse experience preferred
• Basic computer skills required with MS Office programs such as Excel and Word
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
• Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality
• Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple tasks and deadlines
• Available to work 2nd shift schedule which is typically Monday - Friday, 1:00pm-9:30pm
