About the Role:

Mollie Stone's Markets is looking for a Part Time to Full Time Wine, Beer and Spirits Merchandiser at our Grand Central location. The perfect candidate must have passion and experience in wine and specialty spirits as well as a desire to develop their product knowledge to provide a tailored shopping experience for all customers. The perfect candidate will not only have a love of wine, beer and spirits but have a passion for food and grocery.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist customers with questions while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Remain current and continually expand knowledge of wine and spirits to inform and educate our guests as well as give suggestions and pairing ideas with food.
  • Merchandise and maintain correct signage throughout the department.
  • Stock and face shelves, coolers, and displays.
  • Inventory control.
  • Transporting merchandise from storage areas and sales floor.
  • Assist in other departments if needed and cashiering.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • At least 2-3 years' experience in retail with a focus on wine/spirits.
  • Ability to develop product knowledge and stay current.
  • Ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Self-motivated and energetic.
  • Willingness to be cross trained in other departments if needed.
  • Available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.


Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to regularly lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Standing: Up to 8 hours per day.
  • Walking: Up to 8 hours per day.
  • Reaching: Up to 4 hours per day.

Travel requirements:

Independent and local travel 30-40% of the time.

Pay range:

$19.45-23.50 per hour depending on industry experience
