Fog City Flea Trading Post is a 4,000 sq. ft. department store located in the historic Ferry Building. We are looking for energetic, creative and driven sales team members who will be working in a meaningful, high touch retail environment. As a team member you will be working alongside these founders and artists, maintaining their spaces within our store and representing their brands to our clients. Roles and Responsibilities:Customer ExperienceGreets and initiates conversation with customers, sharing product recommendations and information about the store and its makersAssists customers with fittings rooms and jewelry cases, provides shopping baskets, and utilizes POS systems to complete transactions Teamwork + Communication Builds productive relationships with peers; asks for support when needed and makes an effort to help othersParticipates in the learning and sharing of product knowledge, taking time to connect with our brands and makers Contributes to a positive team morale participating in store initiatives such as monthly sales goalsProvides insights related to the customer and employee experience and communicatesfeedbackto Store ManagersVisual Standards + Daily OperationsSupports store and brands by restocking as needed and as directed by ManagementMaintains a tidy and organized store, stockroom, and break areaSupports in floor fixture moves as directed by Store Managers and Executive TeamRole Requirements:At least 1 year of experience related to retail Excellent communication and teamwork skillsHighly adaptable with an ability to multitaskPositive attitude with a willingness to learn and growAbility to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and bank holidays (Required)We look forward to hearing from you!
