Sanitation Manager

Are you passionate about food safety and sanitation? We are seeking a dynamic Sanitation Manager to join our team, reporting directly to the Quality and Production teams. This role is pivotal in ensuring food safety, maintaining area cleanliness, and managing the cleaning chemical inventory to achieve the highest sanitation efficiency . You will work closely with the QA Director to monitor and uphold sanitation standard operating procedures (SSOPs).

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Education: Bachelor's degree.
• Experience: Over 5 years in a Sanitation/Quality environment, specifically within food or beverage manufacturing.
• Certifications: PCQI and HACCP-certified, with hands-on experience in CIP systems.
• Skills: Exceptional leadership abilities, including communication, collaboration, and organization. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sanitation Planning: Develop and manage the annual sanitation plan and budget, tracking critical metrics to ensure safety.
• Health & Safety Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to the company's health and safety programs.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with Quality, Production, and Safety teams to ensure alignment and efficiency.
• CIP Utilization: Effectively utilize CIP systems to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
• Training & Compliance: Implement training measures that comply with regulatory requirements.
• Daily Operations: Ensure the plant is cleaned daily and production schedules are maintained.
• Auditing & Reporting: Conduct audits, report non-compliance, and take corrective actions.
• Leadership: Lead regular sanitation meetings with the Operations team.
