This position is responsible for maintaining and developing sales of imported specialty food in the city of San Francisco. Along with a passion for gourmet cuisine, the account executive should meet or exceed sales goals, provide excellent customer service and display professionalism at all times.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sell company authorized products in required volumes to meet or exceed sales goals.
2. Perform customer needs analysis, develop solutions, discuss product offerings, create proposals, and negotiate with customers.
3. Prospect and ensure the proper level of activity to generate sales results.
4. Identify, qualify, and visit prospects and customers in the assigned area.
5. Maintain existing customer accounts and generate new business.
6. Participate in product and sales related training.
7. Keep current on product knowledge and selling process.
8. Produce accurate and timely forecasts as required by management.
9. Display at all times a positive, professional, and business-like behavior.
10. Ensure compliance with Company policies, procedures, and work processes throughout the selling process.
11. Adhere to all Company established policies and procedures.
12. Special projects or other duties as required.

Skills/Experience

1. Minimum 5 years related sales and industry experience
2. Knowledge of specialty food products and industry
3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills a must
4. Proficiency in MSOffice applications
5. Live in SF Bay Area
6. Italian language proficiency is a plus
