summary Shipping Associate, Shoreview MN Shift: 2nd Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday - 12pm-8pm Pay Rate: $22.00/Hour As a Shipping associate, you will perform shipping tasks in an efficient and timely manner to assure that all shipments are processed and delivered in accordance with specifications. Work activity may include but is not limited to, packing, shipping, weighing, recording shipping charges, maintaining shipping records and all related shipping duties and tasks. Inventory responsibilities will also be included in the position along with the ability to perform all vault functions. What you will do: Perform somewhat difficult shipping duties to assure that shipments are processed in accordance with specs. Process transactions to send and receive information requiring efficient PC user skills. Make workflow and decisions and clearly communicate that to other vault personnel and internal clients. Take last minute packages to drop box. Work from oral or written instructions and a variety of job specifications and work documents. Be responsible for quality of work, housekeeping, or work area, and to work safely. What you will need to have: Ability to type 60 to 80 words per minute with good accuracy. Ability to stay under control while working with continually changing multitask work assignments in a deadline work environment. Proven ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language. Ability to stand 95% of your shift and lift between 20 to 50 pounds. required-skills: What would be great to have: Experience and knowledge with UPS WorldShip program.
