Randstad is seeking a Data Entry Clerk for a local client in Walnut Creek, CA for a 6-week project. This role requires a detail-oriented individual to assist with the digitization of hard-copy documents. Document Scanning and Organization Specialist (6-Week Project) Location: Walnut Creek, CA Pay Rate: $22 per hour Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Project Duration: 6 weeks Job Responsibilities: - Scan and Digitize Documents: Operate scanning equipment to convert hard-copy documents into electronic files, ensuring proper sequencing and quality for readability and completeness. - Organize and Classify Digital Files: Follow file naming conventions and organize digital files within designated folder structures to align with client specifications. - Document Preparation: Prepare documents for scanning by removing any obstructions, arranging them for accurate recordkeeping before and after scanning. - Quality Control: Regularly check scanned documents for accuracy, and re-scan files as needed. - Data Entry and Indexing: Input document details into the client's database, ensuring precise indexing for easy retrieval. - Maintain Document Security and Confidentiality: Handle all documents securely, following privacy policies to prevent unauthorized access. - Collaborate with Team Members: Work with the team to manage workflow and report technical issues or resource needs. This role is ideal for candidates with attention to detail, organizational skills, and experience in handling documents securely.

Seeking a Document Scanning Specialist for a 6-week project in [Client's Location], Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, at $22 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scan and Digitize Documents: Operate scanners to accurately convert hard copy documents into electronic files, ensuring proper sequencing, quality, and legibility. Perform quality checks on all digital copies for completeness.

  • Organize Digital Files: Use specific naming conventions to organize files systematically within designated folders, following the client's file structure for easy access and retrieval.

  • Prepare Physical Documents: Sort and prepare documents for scanning by removing staples, paper clips, and other obstructions, keeping documents organized before and after the scanning process.

  • Quality Control: Identify any incomplete or low-quality scans, re-scanning as necessary to ensure every document meets required standards.

  • Data Entry and Indexing: Accurately input document details into the client's digital database, adhering to organizational guidelines for indexing and ensuring efficient document retrieval.

  • Document Security and Confidentiality: Handle all documents with a high level of security and confidentiality, following client privacy protocols for both physical and digital files.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to meet project deadlines and communicate any needs or issues to supervisors.
