As a Cloud Engineer in Vulnerability Management, you will be responsible for developing security telemetry through metadata creation to identify actionable security vulnerabilities at Apple scale within the cloud and container environments.DescriptionThis role demands a highly technical and hands-on approach in a fast-paced and dynamic setting. You will collaborate closely with various application, system and infrastructure owners to uncover vulnerabilities, drive remediation efforts, evaluate associated risks, and enhance existing processes, all to ensure comprehensive security across Apple's infrastructure.

Minimum QualificationsRequires at least 7 years of relevant work experienceExcellent knowledge of large-scale security solutions and good knowledge of asset management in ephemeral clouds and container environment .Experience using development and integration processes (CI/CD)Experience working with and understanding design of distributed systems with high performance and availabilityExperience with gRPCExperience operating Linux and macOSProficiency in the following languages: GoLang, PythonUnderstanding principles of building and deploying software, process, and monitoring (SDLC)Experience in AWS, GCP and KubernetesPreferred QualificationsCollaborative Team Player: We value individuals who thrive in a team environment, actively contribute, and foster a positive and productive atmosphere. However, we also recognize the value of equivalent work experience in a related area.Pay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
