About the Role

We are looking for an associate product manager or product analyst who is data-driven and has strong analytical & technical skills. In this role, you will work with the Money product team and will play a key role in product and operational decision making. You'll work closely with product, engineering, operations and risk teams, and interact with business stakeholders across many departments.

Goals will be based around empathizing with our customers' pain points, working to improve their Grid experience. The ongoing pursuit of creating a secure, frictionless experience for our customers is never ending, but is forever rewarding and exciting.

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Work closely with the senior product manager on evaluating and monitoring key business metrics.
  • Deep dive into past and ongoing trends and provide data driven insights to create solutions to problems as well as dashboards for constant monitoring.
  • Build monitoring to track performance across relevant dimensions and create alerts to highlight any anomalies.
  • Leverage data to influence key product decisions.
  • Work closely with Engineering and Operations teams to build a seamless customer experience.

To thrive in this role you have:

  • Excellent SQL programming skills (BigQuery), advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and preferably experience in reading code.
  • Experience working with large datasets.
  • Experience in creating performance monitoring dashboards using Looker, Datadog and similar tools.
  • Knowledge of the fundamentals of banking customer onboarding/KYC, payment processing and money movement.
  • Exceptional detail orientation, organizational skills and curiosity; you are eager to solve challenging analytical problems for the business.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitatively rigorous discipline like engineering, statistics, math, or economics is preferred.
  • A passion for Grid's mission.

Bonus:

  • Advanced degree in any field relevant to Statistics, Data Science or Engineering.
  • Previous experience in FinTech and/or fraud and risk analysis.
  • Understanding of machine learning.
  • Understanding of finance, accounting and taxes.
  • Startup experience.

Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 a year
