- Scala Developer with python experience and AWS

- Specifically Lambdas, EC2, Kinesis, Athena

- Funded until end of year then extend into 2025

- Team works PST time - this is fully remote but need to be good working PST

- Will test knowledge of AWS technologies in interview to determine skill level

- Experience in big data is a plus

- Often find developers that jump straight to Scala. Ideally this candidate is coming from a pure Scala backend is ideal

- Github is a nice to have

- Team size - 15 people

- Self- sufficient team from testing to deployment

- No preference for prior industry

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in computer sciences engineering management information systems or combination of education and equivalent working experience.

- Minimum 4 years experience in Scala.

- Strong software design skills and knowledge of design patterns

- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and associated tools Jira
