Job Details

Under the supervision of the Clinical Director, this position is responsible for performing therapy in a manner that is consistent with the legal and ethical standards set by the professional field and the YMCA of San Francisco's mission. This school-based position is responsible for coordinating school-base counseling services at assigned school campuses, including providing assessment, individual and group counseling, crisis intervention and case management with youth, in collaboration with school personnel.

With the help of a local consulting agency, our team of community leaders and staff have made accountability and affinity work central to our purpose and believe that the only way forward in building a better workplace reflects the vision of change we want to see in the larger community in working towards racial equity.

Salary range: $32.50 to $35.00 per hour

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• A master's degree in counseling, psychology or social work OR currently enrolled in a MA program.
• Current registration with the BBS.
• At least 1 year post graduate school, working with youth and their families
• Knowledge of legal and ethical standards of practice, including child abuse reporting laws.

• Experience in crisis management, collaboration, school services and provision of training
• Bilingual in Spanish
