JOB SUMMARY:

This role is responsible for database performance management and is proficient in data entry, cleaning and analysis. This role also supports program reporting.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitate and coordinate ongoing clinic data collection and entry processes.
  • User management, data analysis, security management process automation and business analysis.
  • Attend agency meetings.
  • Attend funder, county, and Community meetings as they pertain to Community Programs.
  • Participate in on-going agency QA/QI projects.
  • Organizational Lead for all issues regarding Circe software.
  • Standard Salesforce Development and customization (includes coding, unit testing, building applications, and creating and modifying existing applications).
  • Define system requirements and customizing the platform.
  • Train staff on the use of database.
  • Provide training on support/analysis and resolve challenges and issues through in-depth analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Pull data from different databases including EPIC, GetCare, Circe, Avatar and Redcap for reporting to program teams.
  • Build dashboards/views.
  • Validate data.
  • Perform data management, quality controlling and database cleaning data and ensuring record integrity.
  • Develop SOPs, user manuals and user guidelines to improve and maintain processes, data quality, and timeliness of data.
  • Create and manage Circe dashboards.
  • Maintain and integrate data from other CSC program databases with Circe.
  • Under the direction of the Research and Evaluation Manager, coordinate and manage data collection and data entry into Circe and other databases.
  • Conduct data QA/QI, development and ensure robust data cleaning protocols, and perform data validation.
  • Develop SOPs, user manuals, and user guidelines for databases.
  • Participate in CSC and external meetings.
  • Support data analysis and reporting.
  • Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience with Salesforce database administration, with experience in Circe preferred.
  • BA/BS Degree or AA degree with five (5) years' experience managing health care data.
  • Strong computer and database skills and literacy.
  • Strong computer skills including writing ability.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records software.
  • Ability to convey technical information effectively.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Proof of Covid Vaccines required: completed original series and first booster.
  • Proof of negative or nonactive TB required. Curry Senior Center will provide or reimburse for the cost of a TB test after an offer of employment has been accepted by both parties. Proof of a negative TB test within 90 days will also be accepted.

  • Effective oral and written communications skills with the ability to express ideas in a clear, thorough, concise manner.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. Solid aptitude for customer service.
  • High degree of skill in grammar, spelling and punctuation.
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of all information obtained.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workflow.
  • High level of analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in a community-based setting in the Tenderloin serving low income, frail, and culturally diverse (including non-English speaking) older adults with mental health issues, substance abuse issues, and chronic health conditions.
  • Enthusiastically interested to learn about Quality Improvement in Community Health Center settings, health information, and be trained in information systems and databases.
  • Excellent time management skills, including the ability to manage self-development.
  • Must be action-oriented and have the ability to work independently and as a team player.
  • Strong computer skills such as Chrome, Google suite, Apple iOS, Office suite.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Work will be performed sitting at a desk/chair or standing while speaking and interacting with clients. Position will require average finger dexterity to operate normal office equipment and systems.
