We seek an experienced Field Recruiter with high integrity and professionalism who can join our team as a remote employee. You will play a vital role in overseeing company recruitment. You will be working under the guidance of the Recruiting and Retention Program Manager to staff our field security operations team, primarily across the Bay Area. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter with impeccable organizational skills and pays close attention to detail.

Compensation for this position: $70,005.98

Must live in the San Francisco Bay Area.

What you will do:

  • Execute end-to-end all our full-cycle recruiting efforts (including sourcing, scheduling, conducting phone screens, updating the applicant tracking system, retrieving feedback from interviewers and maintaining effective communication channels with candidates)
  • Provide coaching to hiring managers on how to create the best candidate experience and guidance on Surefox's hiring policies and processes
  • Guide prospective candidates through every step of the Surefox interview and hiring process, ensuring we are their first-choice opportunity
  • Effectively build relationships with candidates to create and sustain a pipeline of diverse talent for future positions
  • Work with cross-functional hiring managers to draft job descriptions
  • Conduct thorough behavioral-based interviews and phone screens of candidates to assess both technical baseline and other relevant skills to be successful in the Surefox environment
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion while complying with applicable labor laws on whether to extend an offer of employment to candidates in roles that only require a one-round behavioral-based screening interview
  • Effectively utilize recruiting tools, including networking through social media outlets, professional affiliations, job boards, database searches, etc.
  • Communicate/collaborate with peers by sharing recruiting best practices and providing accurate, thorough documentation on contract employees in applicant tracking systems or other documentation tools
  • Submit daily/weekly recruiting reports to the internal Surefox leadership team
  • Ensure that recruiting and hiring activities comply with federal and state regulations, as well as Surefox policies and procedures
  • Help build and shape the Surefox employer brand to attract strong inbound applicants
  • Assist with hiring activities on a regular or periodic basis by holding company recruiting events
  • Provide data insights to stakeholders to elevate and improve the recruiting process and strategies

What is required:

  • 3+ years of experience working in a high-volume, full-cycle recruiting role, ideally in a high growth early-stage startup (recent in-house recruiting experience required)
  • Flexibility to travel to different recruiting locations, depending on company needs
  • A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle to travel between different recruiting locations, depending on company needs
  • Must maintain the ability and flexibility to travel and work in both CONUS and OCONUS locations
  • Must be eligible for employment within the United States
  • Must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screening
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Office, G Suite, ADP HRIS and multiple Recruiting ATS' (preferred Newton/Paycor ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.
  • A self-starter with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of cross-functional teams
  • Ability to prioritize and manage competing projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to be flexible with changing business priorities and to work with a sense of urgency
  • Previous experience reporting on metrics to stakeholders regarding recruitment performance
  • Highly organized, with a natural sense of urgency and a keen eye for detail
  • Strong preference for candidates who have field recruitment experience

What is Desired:

  • Military background is a plus
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification.
