Job Summary:
The Food Service Worker is responsible for performing a variety of patient, cafeteria and catering services functions that may include patient visitation, tray assembly, distribution and service, general sanitation, cleaning and use of kitchen equipment and pantries.
Job Requirements:
Education and Training: High school graduate or equivalent
Skills & Abilities: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to patients, customers and other associates of the facility. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
