Job description:

Our client in the Tile industry is urgently hiring Warehouse associates in Livermore, CA! Great opportunity to learn more about the tile industry and wholesale. Responsibilities:

• Loads Customer vehicles with regard to the safety of the Customer and the vehicle.
• Prepares Customer orders and transfers for shipment.
• Works effectively with other Employees by accepting, completing and handing
  off tasks.
• Packs orders accurately and fills out warehouse paperwork completely.
• Packs and palletizes material efficiently and is careful to protect products and minimize breakage.
• Works carefully and knows that procedural shortcuts are not worth the risk. Keeps on the lookout for safety hazards in the warehouse, and reports any hazards to the Manager or Supervisor.
• Maintain an organized warehouse

Qualifications:

• Articulate, good communicator, willing to help clients and team members
• Customer service oriented with pleasant attitude and team player
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Experience with forklift operation
• Experience in tile industry a plus but not needed
• Experience in retail setting a plus but not needed

Reasoning Ability:

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Math Skills:

• Ability to us the four basic functions of a calculator to calculate figures and amounts.
• Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
