We are seeking Front Desk Agents.

Hourly Rate of Pay - $19.50

Berkeleys newest hotel destination, The Residence Inn by Marriott Berkeley, offers guests contemporary accommodations with fully equipped kitchens, separate living spaces and thoughtful modern amenities. Located in the heart of Downtown Berkeley, this 17 story property with 331 suites will feature over 15,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space and a rooftop restaurant and bar with expansive and inspiring views of the city.

Your Role:

• Provide exceptional customer service by being engaging and taking sincere interest in our guests.
• Check in/ out, ensuring proper credit is received, special requests are noted and fulfilled, and accurate information is established.
• Help to resolve problems and WOW guests through recovery when things arent quite right.
• Promote and sell special hotel programs.
• Interact with hotel/resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information.
• Be knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and policies.
• Maintain house bank.
• Communicate all pertinent information to manager on duty
• Follow set procedures on posting, charges, cashing checks, safe deposits, and refunds.
• Assist other departments as needed.

Qualifications:

Ability to stand and walk with limited bending, pushing and/ or pulling.

Use of computer, telephones and office equipment is required.

Compensation Range:
The compensation for this position is $19.50/Hr. - $19.50/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
