The Department Manager is responsible for the meat department and its staff. You will be responsible for ordering, receiving, merchandising, and maintaining correct pricing on all products. You will also be responsible for servicing all customers in this area, ensuring all their questions are answered and their needs are fulfilled. As a member of this vital department, you must ensure all products being sold are fresh and merchandised correctly, as well as ensuring proper rotation. It will be your responsibility to be informed on all current and future market trends on meat products. You will also be responsible to ensure your department meets all HACCP guidelines.
