The On-Call Camera Operator is responsible for operating camera, audio, lighting and grip for KQED remote productions, including filming on-camera interviews, b-roll and drone footage. This position requires proficiency of operating handheld cameras, audio, lighting and basic grip equipment. The on-call camera operator will collaborate with a field producer. This position is in the National Association of Broadcast Employees and Technicians (NABET) union.

This role will work hybrid between working in and working remotely. KQED requires employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
The successful candidate will be required to join NABET Local 51.
Salary Information: $42.46 to $75.85 per hour
