Rosewood Miramar Beach is looking for a **Seasonal Full-Time, Part-Time, and Full-Time Server Assistant** to join our **The Revere Room Team**!

**Overview**

The Server Assistant will be responsible for providing refined, luxurious service and guest satisfaction according to the standards of the property. Retrieve and serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages and food orders to guest tables according to hotel specifications, courteously, and efficiently. Collect payments; assist in the maintenance of the restaurant area and equipment; maintain luxury service standards at all times.

**Essential Responsibilities**

* Utilizes proper food handling and food service techniques.

* Exhibit a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner when dealing with guests and fellow employees.

* Assist the Server in taking food and beverage orders in a friendly and timely manner and ensures accurate entry and delivery of the order.

* Meets the Company service standards at all times.

* Maintains knowledge of all specials and general description of all food items and explains to guests.

* Totals guest bills, presents them to guests in a timely, manner and obtains full payment along with appropriate paperwork, such as signed credit card slips.

* Ensures tables are well maintained at all times.

* Practices all safety and loss prevention procedures.

* Sets-up and cleans the dining areas while maintaining or exceeding hospitality and service standards.

* Exceeds standards of appearance, cleanliness, personal sanitation, and hygiene.

* Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements **Qualifications**

* Previous experience working as a food runner, server assistant, or host in a fine dining restaurant or in a luxury environment highly preferred.

* Excellent written, verbal, and group presentation communication skills.

* Ability to effectively interact with individuals or small groups of people.

* Basic knowledge of wine and liquor including wine service techniques.

* Must have a flexible schedule that requires days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

**Education**

High school diploma.

**Licenses and Certificates**

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age to serve alcohol. TIPS certification preferred and Food Handling Certification required.
