Description:

OVERVIEW:

Support and assist Corps Officers with administrative duties. Manage and organize paperwork. Fulfill and complete HR documents and report to the Divisional Headquarters.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate with other staffand volunteers to ensure that duties and assignments for various Corps programs are met
  • Recording statistics of Corps Programs
  • Provide monthly reports for finance
  • Maintain Corps calendars
  • Implement and enforce all Salvation Army personnel policies
  • Responsible for making sure deposits are made promptly
  • Compose and mail donor/partners thank you letters/cards
  • Assist in maintaining and updating donor records in the database
  • Assist during Kettle season
  • Assist in TSAMM entries
  • Other related duties as required


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • CA driver's license (required)
  • Experience as an administrative assistant (preferred)
  • Experience with Microsoft programs

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. (Usually file boxes)
