**POSITION:** Front Desk Assistant (Part-Time, Non-Exempt- Temporary/Seasonal May 2021-Aug 2021)

**COMPENSATION:** Hourly Rate

**SUMMARY**

A Cardinal Group Front Desk Assistant is an adaptive, outgoing, and hardworking leader. This position requires the ability to maintain high quality customer service and lead the front desk team.

**RESPONSIBILITIES** (Included but not limited to)

* Welcomes students and visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering questions or referring inquiries.

* Oversees the front desk team to ensure that all necessary tasks are completed and excellent customer service is given to all residents and visitors.

* Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

* Uses MS Word and Outlook effectively to create documents, send emails, and maintain calendar appointments.

* Assists with on-campus housing fairs and other related high school marketing events.

* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

* Participates in Cardinal U as required.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

* High school diploma or equivalent.

* Ability to use Microsoft Word and Outlook accurately and effectively.

* Excellent customer service skills.

* Excellent verbal and written communication.

* Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

* Ability to work up to forty hours per week including weekends.

* Ability to embody the Cardinal Culture and Cardinals Core Values every day.

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**
