Description:

We are looking for enthusiastic, hard working people to join our dining room teams! A Busser is responsible for anticipating the needs of restaurant guests and team members, and providing them with everything they will need for a complete experience. You should be a team player, possess great communication skills, and have a desire to go above and beyond.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  1. Has basic proficiency of the English language and can communicate effectively
  2. Must be courteous and gracious, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times
  3. Establish and maintain good communications and team work with fellow colleagues and other departments within the hotel
  4. Offer guests an enjoyable experience that conforms to the LINE s standards of excellence, professionalism and friendliness
  5. Demonstrate understanding and knowledge of the sequence of service, following this sequence for every guest.
  6. Possess knowledge of the POS system to correctly and strategically coordinate with team members
  7. Clear, mark, and take ownership of table maintenance and wipe and resets tables
  8. Assist coworkers in any task necessary to ensure a great environment for guests and coworkers
  9. Execute any additional employee duties requested by management
  10. Possess expert knowledge of all food and beverage aspects of the restaurant
  11. Maintain an increased awareness of safety issues throughout the hotel
  12. Participate in scheduled departmental and administrative meetings as requested
  13. Adhere to all standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, memos and verbal instructions
  14. Be familiar with all safety and emergency procedures including OSHA requirements

Knowledge, Requirements and Skills

  1. Physical stamina, proper mental attitude and the ability to deal effectively with guests, management, employees and outside contacts in a fast-paced environment
  2. Attention to detail and the required organizational and time management skills needed to work under pressure, ensure efficiency and meet deadlines
  3. Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
  4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  5. Ability to multitask
  6. Excellent communication skills
  7. Able to handle a large volume of guest interactions in an efficient and courteous manner;
  8. Work well under pressure, requires being a team player

Working Conditions/Environment

  1. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
  2. The person having this responsibility may have to lift up to 30lbs on a daily basis
  3. The person having this position may have to sit for one (1) hour, stand and/or walk, push, kneel, bend, balance, squat, reach and stretch for eight (8) hours per day
